- Sunlover Reef Cruises checks guests in at its desk inside the terminal for its Moore Reef pontoon, Fitzroy Island and Reef and Island trips.
- Great Adventures checks guests in at its counter inside the terminal for Green Island and outer reef trips.
Some other operators check you in at the boat on the marina instead. Your booking confirmation tells you exactly where to go, so give it a read the night before.

Great Adventures opens check-in from 7:30am for its Island and Reef combo.

- Check in at the terminal first. Sunlover asks guests not to go straight to the marina, because you need a boarding pass before you can board.
- Bring your card and ID. If you booked online, some operators ask to see the card you paid with and the cardholder’s ID at check-in.
